Clockface Killed The Man

The clockface on the wall face is mocking my disgruntled face
It laughs at disillusions that seem to consume time and space
It's mocking—how shocking!—and now its hands are turning wrong
It's keeping me weeping as it begins an evil song

You're stuck here now and I control your future destiny
As long as I keep time from passing you'll never be free
Dance for me and prance for me or I won't let you go
Life beyond this torture will be one that you'll never know

I'll have a nice chef salad, please, no demonic hatred
I'd like to eat in silence, please, alone and unabated
I wake up in the hospital with pain in my left side
The clockface now is watching me and there's nowhere to hide

You're stuck here now and I control your future destiny
The slowing down of time appeals to your insanity
Come to me, succumb to me; you'll see no need to go
Life beyond this torture will be one that you'll never know

I'm sitting here in my good chair enjoying a good novel
No clockfaces strewn about in my pathetic hovel
A knock sounds at the door and I get up to let him in
Clockface shows his taunting face and traps me now within

You're stuck here now and I control your future destiny
Now that time has ceased to flow so has your will to be
Savor me and favor me so I don't have to let you go
Life beyond this torture will be one that you'll never know
