It is very simple, relatively brief, and perfectly sums up my feelings on poetry.  I don&#8217;t know that there is much else to say about it.  As I have <a href=\"\/blog\/2006\/09\/17\/maybe-theres-still-hope\/\">mentioned before<\/a>, if I ever have a book of poems published, I want to to be called &quot;Poetisms.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>When I read this poem, it also reminds me of the Simon &amp; Garfunkel song &quot;The Dangling Conversation,&quot; and I have the feeling that the song was on my mind when I wrote this poem down.
