How did I fare with my goals for 2016<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Books to Read<\/strong><\/p>\n

I failed miserably.\u00a0 Like a big fat 0.\u00a0 This year I really hope to do better.\u00a0 Like, for reals.<\/p>\n

TV Seasons to Watch<\/strong><\/p>\n

Haven’t seen before:<\/em><\/p>\n

We’ll call this 2.9\/7.\u00a0 I finished Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine<\/em>, five seasons of Star Trek: Voyager<\/em>, and 1 season of The Flintstones<\/em>.\u00a0 I’m going to finish Voyager<\/em> this month, and I’d really like to finish The Flintstones<\/em> this year, since I’ve had the DVDs for so long.\u00a0 The others, we’ll have to see.<\/p>\n

Have seen before, but haven\u2019t yet watched my BDs\/DVDs:<\/em><\/p>\n

Also a 0.\u00a0 Justice League: Unlimited <\/em>is definitely on my list for this year though, possibly after a rewatch of Justice League<\/em> and even more possible after a rewatch of Batman: The Animated Series<\/em> and Superman: The Animated Series<\/em> (and maybe even Batman Beyond<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Have seen before:<\/em><\/p>\n

1\/3.\u00a0 I watched Life<\/em>, and was reminded again how wonderful that show is, and how wonderful Damien Lewis is.\u00a0 I’d like to revisit Alias <\/em>again soon, but I think Pinky and the Brain<\/em> should take higher priority, and that my children should watch it with me.<\/p>\n

I watched them all, with the exception of Homeland<\/em> season 6, which is actually airing this year.<\/p>\n

61\/63, almost 5% better than last year’s 46\/50.\u00a0 This year maybe I’ll hit 100%.\u00a0 The two I missed were Castle in the Sky<\/em> (which I watched a few days ago) and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind<\/em> (which I’ll get to soon).<\/p>\n

Video Games to Play<\/strong><\/p>\n

First-time Plays:<\/em><\/p>\n

100% of 1.\u00a0 I so can not wait for Breath of the Wild <\/em>this year.\u00a0 I may experience a few more first-time plays this year, depending on how the Nintendo Switch does.<\/p>\n

Replays:<\/em><\/p>\n

100% of 4.\u00a0 I had a fun time revisiting some Metroid<\/em> titles, along with Skyward Sword<\/em>.\u00a0 Did I mention that I so cannot wait for Breath of Wild<\/em> this year?\u00a0 (Hint: I did not, because the first time you’re thinking of I said “can not” instead of “cannot.”)<\/p>\n

Other<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don’t think there was even a token poetism commentary entry this past year, and only one “Greatest Talks, Etc.” entry.\u00a0 I think I should get try harder in the upcoming months.\u00a0 It would certainly be difficult to be less productive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
