{"id":136,"date":"2011-05-11T23:44:41","date_gmt":"2011-05-12T05:44:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.grassmonk.net\/blog\/?p=136"},"modified":"2014-06-23T17:00:27","modified_gmt":"2014-06-23T23:00:27","slug":"2010-movie-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grassmonk.net\/blog\/2011\/05\/11\/2010-movie-update\/","title":{"rendered":"2010 Movie Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As a follow-up to <a title=\"My favorite (and not) movies of 2010\" href=\"http:\/\/www.grassmonk.net\/blog\/2011\/01\/16\/my-favorite-and-not-movies-of-2010\/\">this post<\/a>, I mentioned <em>Batman: Under the Red Hood<\/em> and <em>Superman\/Batman: Apocalypse<\/em> as the two 2010 DC animated direct-to-DVD films that I enjoyed.\u00a0 Apparently I forgot that <em>Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths<\/em> also came out in 2010.\u00a0 I also enjoyed it very much, with <em>Under the Red Hood <\/em>remaining my favorite of the three.\u00a0 It added another Whedonverse, specifically <em>Firefly<\/em>, actor to the list of those with roles in the DC animated films, namely Gina Torres as Super Woman.<\/p>\n<p>As for the &#8220;2010 movies I haven\u2019t seen yet that I hope are good, because I  already bought at least one of them, and I want to like the others,&#8221; I have now seen them all, and own three of them, so that&#8217;s something.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shrek Forever After<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This was the one that I had already bought, in the complete series pack for my kids for Christmas.\u00a0 It was definitely better than <em>Shrek the Third<\/em>, though not quite as good as the first two entries in the series.
